✏️ General Feedback / Review: Tucked along the northern Oregon Coast, Thousand Trails Seaside offers a woodsy retreat with coastal charm. Surrounded by evergreens and just a short drive from the beach, this campground delivers a relaxed atmosphere ideal for families looking to enjoy both nature and nearby seaside attractions.

Larger rigs (over 40') should note that interior roads—especially in some of the back and older sections—can feel tight. We had to relocate after finding our assigned site inaccessible due to overhead clearance and limited turning radius. Thankfully, the staff was incredibly helpful and worked with us to find a better fit, which made a big difference.

Amenities are solid for a Thousand Trails location—indoor pool, a playground, pickleball, basketball and tennis courts to keep kids entertained between adventures.

We were lucky enough to be in town for the Seaside 4th of July celebration, and it did not disappoint! The parade and fireworks were amazing and well worth the trip. Local tip: Skip the beach crowds and head to the Seaside High School parking lot for an awesome (and less crowded) view of the fireworks.

While the campground is a little dated, it’s still slightly above-average for a Thousand Trails park. If you're looking for a family-friendly coastal basecamp with easy access to Seaside’s beach-town fun, this spot delivers. Just call ahead and scout your site if you're rolling in with a big rig.
