✏️ General Feedback / Review: Nestled in the forested foothills of the Cascades, Mt. Hood Village RV Resort offers a peaceful, woodsy basecamp with quick access to mountain adventures and scenic drives. As a Thousand Trails location, it strikes a solid balance between nature and convenience—ideal for families exploring the Mt. Hood area. Larger RVs can navigate most sections without issue, but site size and levelness vary, so we recommend calling ahead to request a spacious, accessible site. Staff was friendly and quick to help when we had questions.
The campground has a cozy feel with decent amenities for downtime—including a pool, hot tub, playground, and walking trails. The girls loved roaming the wooded paths while we relaxed at the site after a day of hiking. Nearby gems like Trillium Lake, Timberline Lodge, and Skibowl Adventure Park offer year-round activities for all ages. Whether you're chasing waterfalls, snowflakes, or summer hikes, this campground puts it all within reach.
While the park shows its age in some areas, it remains one of the better Thousand Trails options in Oregon. If you're looking for a laid-back home base to explore Mount Hood’s beauty, Mt. Hood Village is a solid choice.
