🚩 Area Attractions / Amenities: In addition to great facilities, Jellystone Glen Ellis is also located near several attractions. North Conway is just down the road where you can explore several shops and restaurants as well as take a trip on the Mountaineer, a train that offers several options to enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. Storyland, a family amusement park celebrating their 70th anniversary, is also just around the corner. The girls loved the park’s Halloween theme and trick-or-treat trail. Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern U.S. is just down the road as well. Visitors can opt to drive, hike or ride the COG Railway to the summit. We booked our COG excursion several months before arriving, but the inclement weather delayed our trip. Because of snow at the summit, the train did not go all the way to the top. However, it was still a memorable journey that allowed our youngest to experience snow for the first time. Such a great time, and we’ll definitely be back to the area in the future to explore more of the White Mountains!

✏️ General Feedback / Review: Going to a Jellystone Park around Halloween is a tradition for us. The kids love it when we visit, and the parks are always so much fun. Unfortunately during this trip, we had some inclement weather with high winds that knocked power out for a couple days. Nonetheless, the park staff did a great job of keeping things going. Everyone we spoke to had a great time and enjoyed their stay. Because we visited in early October, the park was already in its off season. Most social activities are only scheduled over weekends and holidays, but as usual for a Jellystone, Glen Ellis had a full schedule of options and nightly entertainment. The portion of the park along the Saco River was under repair, but there was no impact to the rest of the park. The amenities and facilities at Jellystone Glen Haven are top notch with several outdoor recreation and play areas as well as a pavilion with food truck and ice cream. The resort is located between the Ellis and Saco rivers. During the summer, guests can tube the Ellis and enjoy the beach located on the Saco. If you’re looking to surprise the kids or want a fun family adventure, Jellystone Glen Ellis is your place.
