โœ๏ธ General Feedback / Review: Thousand Trails Orlando is a fantastic home base for RV families looking to explore Central Florida without paying theme-park prices. Its biggest win is locationโ€”just minutes from Walt Disney World and within easy reach of Universal, making it ideal for mixing park days with laid-back campground living.

This is a large, well-established park, so site quality varies by section. Some areas feel more dated, but sites are generally functional, roomy enough for larger rigs, and perfectly suited for longer stays. Utilities are reliable, and the sheer size of the campground makes availability easier than at many Orlando-area parks.

The pros really shine for families: multiple pools, walking trails, lakes, playgrounds, and a steady calendar of activities create a relaxed, community feel. Itโ€™s the kind of place where kids can burn off energy while parents recharge after busy days at the parks. Staff interactions were friendly and check-in was smooth.

A few things to keep in mind: cell service can be hit or miss depending on your carrier and location in the park, and some sections could benefit from modernization. Still, none of that outweighed the value and convenience.

Bottom line: Thousand Trails Orlando is a solid, budget-friendly choice with an unbeatable location. If youโ€™re planning extended time in the Orlando areaโ€”especially with kidsโ€”itโ€™s an easy place to settle in, slow down, and enjoy the magic just beyond the gates.
