There is a $100.00 fine for those found not cleaning up after their pet. Pets are not allowed in any resort buildings, swimming pool or patio areas. Leashes and tethers should be no more than 6 feet long. NO PETS ALLOWED IN COTTAGES. Owners MUST be in attendance when pets are outside.

🛀 Facilities and 🏊🏻‍♂️ Amenities: Facilities and amenities are above average for this location. The office has a small store and is located in the building that looks like a house at the front of the property. There’s also an event center, lounge, fitness center, billiards room in the same area. They have two comfort stations with laundry, showers and restrooms. There are also two pools, one with a spa. The outdoor recreation area is quite nice with two pickleball courts, a basketball court, playground and putt putt.

🚩 Local Area Attractions / Amenities: Raleigh Oaks is also a great location to explore the Raleigh Durham Triangle Area as well as other nearby towns. Here’s a few locations to explore:

  • Tucker Lake: (12 miles) Tucker Lake offers a beach area, swimming, picnicking, and a playground (weather permitting). It's a great spot for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

  • Downtown Smithfield: (15 miles) Downtown Smithfield is a charming historic area featuring local shops, restaurants, the Ava Gardner Museum, and ice cream shops. It's perfect for a family day out exploring small-town charm.

  • Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site: (10 miles) This site offers a Civil War battlefield, visitor center, hiking trails, educational programs, picnic areas, and nature walks. It's an excellent place for families to learn about history and enjoy the outdoors.

  • Clemmons Educational State Forest: (20 miles) Clemmons Educational State Forest features nature trails, educational exhibits about forestry, an interactive 'talking tree' trail, and ranger-led programs. It's a great place for families to learn about nature and ecology.

✏️ General Feedback / Review: Raleigh Oaks RV Resort & Cottages in Four Oaks, NC, offers a convenient and comfortable stay for all travelers. Its location close to I-95 makes for an excellent stop if exploring the East Coast. November visitors can expect average temperatures ranging from 45°F to 65°F, so packing layers is advisable. The resort has full hookups for RVs, including water, electricity, and sewer connections, as well as Wi-Fi; however, during periods where the temperature is below freezing, they request water lines be disconnected. Raliegh Oaks amenities include laundry facilities, and bathhouses with showers. While the swimming pools are closed in November, other recreational options such as a playground, game room, pickleball, putt putt and more are available.
