✏️ General Feedback / Review:
We stayed one night at The Orchards at Kolob RV Resort in New Harmony, Utah, and it turned out to be a great stopover. The sites were clean, spacious, and had easy full-hookup access, making it perfect for a quick setup after a travel day. The campground has a simple, open layout with nice landscaping and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The location is super convenient if you're looking to explore the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. It's just a short drive from the campground, and we were able to squeeze in a scenic drive and a quick hike before sunset. Kolob feels like a hidden corner of Zion—quiet, less crowded, and full of epic views without the hustle and bustle of the main canyon.

At night, the campground was peaceful and the stargazing was incredible. You can hear a little bit of highway noise from I-15, but it really wasn't a big deal for us—it didn’t take away from the relaxing vibe.

Even though we only had a short time, the campground’s location made it easy to fit in a few extra things. Cedar City is about 20 minutes away and has everything you might need for groceries, gas, or a bite to eat. If we had a little more time, we would have loved to explore the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum and check out the cute local shops there.

We also considered squeezing in a hike to Kanarra Falls, which is just about 15 minutes away. It’s a really fun slot canyon hike with waterfalls and ladders, but you do need a permit—and it’s best tackled if you have a few hours to spare and don’t mind getting a little wet!

Overall, even with just a quick overnight stay, The Orchards at Kolob RV Resort made a great impression. It’s a peaceful, convenient base for exploring Zion's quieter side, with easy access to Cedar City and adventure spots like Kanarra Falls. We'd definitely stay here again if we're passing through the area!
