βοΈ General Feedback / Review: Our stay at Oak Grove Park was a pleasant experience overall. Unfortunately, we were in the area for some of the coldest weather Florida has experienced in many years. We got 7-inches of snow!
Site 20 was spacious enough to fit our fifth wheel, but because of its location, we experienced significant standing water from runoff. In addition, several park facilities needed maintenance. This is most likely due to previous hurricanes and a limited maintenance budget.
Nevertheless, the parksβ location and proximity to Pensacola Bay canβt be beaten. The park is also just down the road from the Pensacola Lighthouse and the National Naval Aviation Museum, thereβs plenty to do and see.
Our time at Oak Grove was enjoyable and itβs always nice to interact with service members and fellow veterans when staying at FamCamps.
