βοΈ General Feedback / Review: Flatwoods KOA Journey offers a convenient and pleasant experience for overnight or extended RV stays. With an average price of $55 per night, this campground provides full hookup pull-through sites suitable for RVs up to 85 feet, with 50 amp service. The beautiful, wooded setting and clean, well-maintained facilities make it an attractive stop. Pros include easy access from I-79 (Exit 67), access to Days Inn amenities (pool, restaurant), and a dog-friendly environment with a dog park. However, steep roads within the campground can be challenging for large RVs, some sites may be unlevel, and Wi-Fi can be unreliable. RV sites offer full hookups with pull-through options, while tent sites and limited cabins are also available. The staff is friendly and helpful, with check-in at the adjacent Days Inn. Overall, Flatwoods KOA is great option offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere close to I-79 and local attractions like Sutton Lake and New River Gorge.
