βοΈ General Feedback / Review: Our stay at Double J Campground in Chatham, IL, was a pleasant and comfortable experience, making it an ideal stop for exploring Springfield and the surrounding area. The staff were welcoming and helpful, creating a friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived.
The campground was clean, well-maintained, and offered spacious, level full-hookup sites that worked well for big rigs. Amenities like the pool, playground, laundry, and outdoor recreation areas made it a great choice for our family
We appreciated how convenient the location was for visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Lincoln Home National Historic Site, and other Route 66 attractions nearby. Double J Campground provided a safe, relaxing, and family-friendly basecamp, and we would happily stay again on future travels through Illinois.
