βοΈ Additional Notes / Review: We came across Deep Creek Tube Center and Campground while planning one of our summer trips. All the reviews and pictures had us very excited about staying here for a week. It was everything we thought it would be and more. We stayed on site 13, just across from the creek. We were able to put our tubes in and float down about ΒΎ of a mile to an exit point at the lower portion of the campground. You can walk back through the campground and do it as many times as you want. If you want a little longer ride, you can head up West Deep Creek Rd about 2-miles to the Deep Creek Trailhead. You can put in at the trailhead or hike a little further for an even longer tubing adventure. The further you head up, the more turbulent the water gets. None of it was too crazy though. The campground has several play areas, a few of them are themed like a fort and a pirate ship. They also have goats onsite that you can feed by purchasing food from the camp store. Bryson City and the surrounding area have so much to offer. We loved Deep Creek and hope to make it back one day, but it probably wonβt be with our new rig. It gets tight navigating through Bryson City and into the campground, but if your rig is at or under 30β, youβll be fine. If youβve not explored this area, add Deep Creek to your list!
